Tami Tremblay anchors FOX 12 News at Nine. She started on FOX 12 This Morning in September of 2008, and made the switch to main anchor in November, 2009.
After graduating from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) with a communications degree, Tami landed her first job as a reporter in Kennewick, Washington.
Two years doing basically everything at KVEW (report, anchor, produce, edit, film), Tami decided to take a reporting job in Toledo, Ohio. She spent a little more than two years at WUPW, and then headed to Albuquerque, New Mexico. One year reporting at KRQE landed her an anchor spot at KTRV FOX 12.
Tami also interned at KLEW in Lewiston, Idaho, as well as NBC in London, England. Being outside of the Northwest for a few years made it that much more exciting for her to come back to the Northwest.
When she's not working, Tami is proud to be a volunteer for Make-A-Wish as a Wish Granter. You can also usually catch Tami with her dogs, Shadow and Buddy. Tami rescued Shadow from an animal shelter in Kennewick, and saved Buddy from the Canyon County Animal Shelter in Caldwell. When she's not hanging out with her dogs, she also loves spending time with friends and family, and exercising.
Tami would love to hear from you! E-mail her at ttremblay@ktrv.com and send her a message on Twitter, FOX12Tami.
