Boise, Idaho -- An Idaho soldier passed away while supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom, according to the Department of Defense.
Spec. James Lee Bridges, 22, of Buhl died in Baghdad Saturday after suffering a gunshot wound. Bridges was assigned to the 172nd Striker Brigade Combat Team in Fort Wainwright, Alaska. He is the 18th soldier from Idaho to die in Iraq since the United States invaded in March 2003.
