Boise, Idaho -- Idaho's attorney general is joining other states to address school safety concerns.
The National Association of Attorneys General's task force just released a report identifying potential deficiencies in federal and state laws that may leave students vulnerable to violence on school campuses.
Idaho's Lawrence Wasden is already working to protect kids from sexual predators online with free CD's offering safety information.
"Where there are things that he can do to help kids have a safer environment in their schools and help young adults to have a safe environment at college and universities, he wants to do that," said Attorney General's office spokesman Robert Cooper.
Some of the recommendations in the report include schools and colleges having a expert risk management team in place year round.
