Boise Family Starts Ribbon Campaign for Captured Soldier

Boise, Idaho -- A Boise family is doing it's part to keep attention on captured Idaho soldier Bowe Bergdahl and his family.

The Housers are tying yellow ribbons all over Boise. Written on them, the phrase "Bows for Bowe." They're hoping that other's join in and, slowly but surely, they can send a message of support to the Bergdahl's.

"We thought if we could just get everybody to tie a yellow ribbon around a tree and write 'Bows for Bowe' that with each ribbon a good thought and intention would go to him and his family," said Jill Houser.

The Houser's started first by decorating the area around the Statehouse. Then it was onto the Grove. They estimate they've gone through 500 to 600 yards of ribbon, much of it donated from Craft Warehouse.
