Boise, Idaho -- Legislators are still searching for answers to Idaho's transportation needs as Gov. Butch Otter's transportation task force crunched some numbers today.
The group poured over the findings of a research firm that gathered some specific information about the Gem state's roads. The Cost Allocation Study answers some key questions when it comes to providing funding for roads and highways.
"What are the uses on our roads? Whose using them? How much are they using them? So that when we come back and look at increased funding for transportation we can use those numbers and be objective about it," said Sen. John McGee.
McGee and the rest of the group will report their progress back to the rest of the task force. They will then, as a whole, make a recommendation for the next legislative session.
