Boise, Idaho -- Boise is one of the best, a top team to beat when it comes to our firefighters.
More than 1,500 firefighters tackle stairs for charity in Washington. It's the 19th Annual Scott Firefighter Stair climb in Seattle and it's the world's largest firefighter fitness competition.
Firefighters carried more than 50 pounds of gear up the 76-story, 788-foot Columbia Center Tower. All donations went to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Locally, our own Boise Fire Department team finished eighth in the team race. Meridian placed 33rd and Eagle in 35th out of 129 teams.
