KTRV Fox 12 Bannock Co nurse pleads guilty to stealing meds

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) - A nurse at the Bannock County Jail in eastern Idaho has pleaded guilty stealing prescription medication intended for inmates.
Margaret R. Kirby, of Grace, pleaded guilty Monday to one count of obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation, fraud, forgery, deception or subterfuge, and one count of changing out a drug for 1 of a lower quality.
Two other felony charges were dropped in exchange.
According to police, Kirby would pick up the prescriptions at the pharmacy and then switch them out with less potent medication.
