TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) - A woman who was shot early Monday afternoon at a Twin Falls motel has been transported by helicopter to a hospital in Boise while authorities continue to hunt for a person of interest in the case.
The woman's name, age and condition haven't been released by the Twin Falls Police Department.
But they're calling 30-year-old Thomas Trevino a "person of interest" in the shooting at the Comfort Inn, which is located just south of the Snake River canyon near U.S. Highway 93.
The person of interest seen leaving the area of the hotel is described as a male adult, with black hair, brown eyes and wearing a white T-shirt.
He had a dog with him and is believed to be driving a red SUV.
A caller reported the incident to police at 1:43 p.m. on Monday.
